HERIB held its annual Ladies Luncheon event on Tuesday 22nd May in the glorious sun baked surroundings of Willerby Manor Hotel. As well as a delicious two course lunch, guests enjoyed a touching and inspirational talk from television cook Emily Roberts.

It was not all fun and games however as guests were also invited to try on a range of special spectacles to simulate the effects of different visual impairments in an effort to raise awareness of how sight loss can affect every day tasks such as eating meals.

Thanks to the generosity of those who attended more than £450 was raised to support HERIB’s work with local people with sight loss.
