Charity Shop - End of an Era

Since 1922 HERIB has had a shop, firstly in Waterworks Street and then from 1938 on Beverley Road. Since the workshops closed in the mid 1980s the premises on Beverley Road has been used as a retail and charity shop. Sales have been on the decline for some years now and it is with regret the Trustees made the decision to close the Charity Shop at the end of June 2009.

We are now following a schedule of refurbishment to utilise this space as the main entrance and Resource Centre, due for completion around September 2009.
