Events and Challenges
HERIB hold many exciting events and challenges throughout the year. The aim is to have fun and raise lots of money. If you would like to become involved or if you would rather organise your own event, then we are always pleased to hear from you and offer our help and support to you. Volunteers are also needed at many of our events, so maybe if you don’t want to jump off a building, then maybe you could just be handing out the drinks.
Challenges
Every year we hold different challenges such as Great North Run, Phoenix Walk,
Sky Dive and long distance cycle challenges.

Dogs Walking for the Blind
Annual Dog Walk held every year in September across the Humber Bridge. Many
people walk their dogs across the bridge or go across in fancy dress dog
costumes.
Sponsored dog walkers
Annual Christmas Social Event
Every year we hold a Christmas Social Event at a local hotel. The evening includes
dinner, music from a headline band or other entertainment with various party
games and a disco.
