HERIB Help Point
Following the success of our support worker within the Eye Department at Hull Royal Infirmary, HERIB are now pleased to offer a similar signposting service at the HERIB Help Point. Under the management of TravelExtra Ltd, the project Community Junction is now open in the Booking Hall at Paragon Station.
The idea for a central point for disability groups and agencies to come together was originally born a few years ago but funding for TravelExtra Ltd was slow to come to fruition. This year, 2009, saw all the plans and aspirations come together and Community Junction is now open for business. HERIB is one of the first to take up an office in this exciting new development and will work along side local community groups and agencies.

The service will offer practical advice and assistance for people with sight loss, their families and carers.
